Dress manufacturing process

If there is such a thing as perfection and vision for every design, we can safely say that the process of bringing the design of a bridal dress or evening gown to realization is no less important and at times even critical to ensure that the design vision will be realized in the best  manner possible and will usher in to the world another amazing dress from the creative workshop of the designers that work with our company.

Each of the manufacturing stages of the dress is extremely important and in each of these stages rigorous and exhaustive testing which include quality control are conducted throughout the process. Quality control is performed exclusively our company in order to make sure that the clients’ interests are represented exclusively throughout the manufacturing process of the dress.

These means are of the outmost importance and were made to ensure a defect-free end product that is shipped to international export as a high-end fashion item.

Design planning

The dress manufacturing process begins in the designer’s workshop when already in the beginning of said process we’re accompanying the designers in each and every stage of the dress design planning process.

The designers have the option to either use their own fabrics or choose from a wide variety of fabrics which are currently available at our factories. Our knowledge in the field of design combined with our ability to communicate in the same design language as the designers that we works with, all these can substantially be beneficial for bringing the creative vision of the dress to realization.

The designers can choose one of two options. The first option involves copying a model of a dress which exists and was developed in a fashion house by the designer. In an event of this option we simply copy the model and work to develop a prototype of the dress which will ultimately receive the approval of the designer prior to the entry of the dress to the manufacturing process.

The second option is developing the design from sketch which the designer will create. This process is done with the Racheli and her staff’s accompaniment, and all the while she provides from her extensive experience working with designers and helps them bring their fruit of creation to an effective manufacturing process. Upon receiving all the required design materials, the designer receives estimates pertaining to the projected manufacturing costs.

Creating the model

After the approval of the price estimates for the manufacturing stage by the designer, the stage of creating a prototype and bringing it to the approval of the designer begins. In this process the designer is involved in each and every stage of the work while he or she is informed by Racheli and consult with her frequently regarding the various aspects of the process of building the initial model and implementing the design elements within the initial model which comes out of the product line. developing the prototype of a dress is a process which takes between 14-45 business days. The timetables are subject to change in accordance with the complexity of the design of the model, availability of appropriate fabrics and of course certain periods throughout the year should be taken under consideration (July-August or February-March) at which workloads are larger due to the existence of fashion week in these months of the year.

In creating the initial model of the dress, additional development costs are taken under consideration when these should arise throughout the process, and these costs are factored in and integrated in the estimates which are handed over to the designer.

Manufacturing the dress

The next and final stage is the actual manufacturing process of the dress by a skilled team of professional seamstresses which possess many years of experience in sewing techniques which are adapted to the model of the dress and are performed as a masterpiece process until receiving the dress which is now ready for export to the international markets. Entire collections by designers are being put through a rigorous manufacturing process under the supervision of Racheli in the factories with which she works in Europe.

At Racheli’s disposal is a fully functioning quality control array ready to ensure that each dress which undergoes a sewing process is also going through quality control throughout the entire process. In other words, this is a stage where there is no room for cutting corners and no compromises when it come to the section of the finest raw materials, the most quality fabrics, and of course the most accomplished seamstresses in the business.

After selecting the appropriate fabric for the dress, arrives the most important stage of the manufacturing process which is the sewing process. Needless to say, that every designer is well aware of the critical importance which can be found in a correctly done sewing work as opposed to a mishandled sewing work.

In a very complex and delicate process, every dress undergoes a very meticulous sewing work while maximum attention is paid to every conceivable detail as well as preserving the dress design contours in accordance to the directions and instructions given by the designer and by understanding what he or she is asking to convey in the current design.

The process of sewing the dress is performed in several stages. Throughout every stage constructors’ which build the paper patterns, cutters and professional seamstresses are involved. Both of which require skill and professionalism in the sewing process combined with certain elements of sewing by hand. As someone who began her professional experience as a seamstress, Racheli knows all the innerworkings of the sewing process, so it should come as no surprise that she works with some of the best sewing factories in the world which provide top of the line sewing works, unique in quality and specifically tailormade to the various needs of the designers.

These sewing factories perform the sewing works for the various dresses while adhering to the strictest of standards and uncompromising quality work second to none. Attention is paid to every conceivable detail under the guidance of Racheli and her staff. The quality control which we provide our clients with is completely independent. This enables us to provide our designers with an excellent and flawless product at the end of the manufacturing process.
